Join us for a short introduction of State DeafBlind Programs and information on family support and engagement. Meet and greet other families to share experiences, tips.
Online Family Group in Spanish
Join Myrna Medina with California Deafblind Services and a mother of a child with deafblindness to learn about dual sensory loss or deafblindness. She will facilitate a 12-week study group using three of the Spanish Open Hands, Open Access (OHOA) online learning modules.

California Deafblind Services esta ofreciendo un curso de aprendizaje GRATUITO en Español en línea, para familias de sordociegos.

El curso utilizará tres módulos de aprendizaje de Open Hands, Open Access (OHOA) durante las próximas doce semanas con sesiones de discusión semanales. Lectura y tarea serán a su propio tiempo y se reunirá semanalmente en línea con el resto del grupo, para discutir los temas los miércoles a las 6 p.m. PST.

Sesiones de discusión de una hora. (12 sesiones o 12 semanas)
- Una perspectiva general de la Sordoceguera y estrategias de instrucción.
- La función del interventor en el entorno educativo.
- Comprensión de los principios de comunicación.

F2FC brings families from across the U.S. together to connect, share information and offer support. Remote groups of 8 to 10 family members, including one for Spanish-speaking families, meet once a month via phone or video conference. Registration now open until September 1:
