Registration is now open for the WA Cohort of the OHOA DeafBlind Intervener Modules. Each module is self-paced and available for three weeks. To be eligible for six clock hours (available for purchase), you must complete all activities before the module closes and attend one online meeting held on the last Thursday of the module.

This fall, the Washington DeafBlind Program is offering:

  • Module 1: An Overview of Deaf-Blindness
  • Module 2: The Sensory System
  • Module 3: The Role of Interveners in Educational Settings
  • Module 12: Maximizing Vision and Hearing
  • Module 23: Behavior and Environmental Supports

These topics are helpful for anyone working with students with complex needs, including children who are blind/low vision, deaf/hard of hearing, or deafblind.

Modules are hosted by Sarah Godwin and Kathee Scoggin, DeafBlind Consultants. Find the registration link and module dates on the training page.

Registration will close on Sunday September 28, 2025, or when classes are full.

Modules start September 29, 2025.
